Cheesecake Babes

I know that I’ve posted about models from The Pinup Files for the last few days, but I felt that this photo was the perfect example of something that makes modern pinups very different from cheesecake in the 40s and 50s.

Can you tell from the picture what I’m getting at?

It’s cleavage! In vintage pins, you aren’t really going to find a lot of cleavage because the standards of the times called for more coverage with clothing. While women lifted their busts with bullet bras and tried to make them larger with creams, photos still showed them posing in sultry outfits that covered much of their breasts.

Now, cleavage is a huge turnon and a necessary part of a good pinup! And wow do the girls at The Pinup Files ever have cleavage!!
